AI Community Manager
Overview
The AI Community Manager is an intelligent assistant designed to help you manage and grow your community automatically.
It monitors activity across your space and provides real-time insights, alerts, and recommendations so you can stay on top of what’s happening without manually tracking everything.
The AI agent can:
notify you when you are mentioned
alert you about reported content
send daily community activity summaries
suggest connections between members
surface relevant insights from community interactions
You can customize and manage your AI agent directly from your Space Settings.
Creating an AI Community Manager
To set up your AI assistant:
Open Space settings.
Select AI Community Manager.
Click Create your AI Community Manager.
A setup window will appear where you can customize your AI agent.
Configuration options
During setup you can customize:
Avatar
Choose the visual representation of your AI assistant.
AI Name
Give your AI agent a name (e.g. Kai).
Tone of voice
Select how the AI communicates within your community:
Friendly
Professional
Funny
Formal
Once configured, click Create to activate the AI Community Manager.
AI Community Manager Dashboard
After setup, the AI agent appears in your AI Community Manager settings panel.
The dashboard shows:
AI name and avatar
status (Active or Paused)
communication tone
quick management actions
From here you can:
Edit Kai
Pause Kai
Resume Kai
AI Activity Notifications
The AI agent monitors activity across the community and surfaces important updates.
Notifications appear directly inside the community interface and help you respond quickly to relevant events.
Mention alerts
When someone mentions you in a conversation or comment, the AI notifies you.
Example notification:
You’ve been mentioned
You’ve been mentioned by John Smith in a comment.
You can choose to:
View the conversation
Dismiss the alert
Community activity snapshot
The AI provides daily summaries of community activity.
Example:
Daily community snapshot
Today: 5 new members, 12 posts, 40 comments.
You can choose to:
View report
Later
This helps you stay informed about engagement levels in your community.
Reported content alerts
If members flag content, the AI agent alerts administrators.
Example notification:

A post has been flagged by members.
You can choose to:
Review now
Ignore
This helps moderators maintain a healthy community environment.
Smart connection suggestions
The AI also identifies potential connections between members.
Example:
You’ve got something in common!
Kai noticed you and another member attended the same event.
You can choose to:
View profile
Not now
These suggestions help members discover relevant people and build meaningful relationships.
Pausing the AI Community Manager
If you temporarily want to stop AI notifications, you can pause the AI agent.
To pause the AI:
Open AI Community Manager settings.
Click Pause Kai.
Confirm by clicking Pause.
When paused:
the AI will stop sending alerts
daily community summaries will stop
AI suggestions will be disabled
The AI configuration remains saved.
Resuming the AI Community Manager
You can reactivate the AI assistant at any time.
To resume:
Open AI Community Manager settings.
Click Resume Kai.
Once resumed, the AI will continue monitoring activity and sending insights.
Smart Match
The AI Community Manager also powers Smart Match, which identifies shared interests between members.
Smart Match uses:
profile markers
networking goals
event participation
community activity
to recommend relevant connections inside the community.
This helps members discover valuable relationships without manually searching.

To get the most value from the AI Community Manager:
keep member profiles updated
encourage members to use markers and networking goals
review AI alerts regularly
respond to reported content promptly
use AI insights to guide community engagement
