Change Email Address

Overview

You can update the email address associated with your EKOS account from Account Settings.

Changing your email address allows you to:

  • receive notifications at a new email address

  • update outdated contact information

  • maintain secure access to your account

For security reasons, updating your email requires password confirmation and email verification.


Accessing Email Settings

To change your email address:

  1. Open the User menu from your profile icon.

  2. Select Account settings.

  3. Click Change email.

The Change email window will open.


Updating Your Email Address

In the Change email form you will see:

  • your current email address

  • a field to enter your new email address

  • a field to enter your current password

Steps

  1. Enter your new email address.

  2. Enter your current password.

  3. Click Update.

This step verifies that the request is made by the account owner.


Email Verification

After submitting the new email address, EKOS will send a verification code to the new email.

A Verify email window will appear asking you to enter the code.

To verify your email

  1. Check your inbox for the verification email.

  2. Enter the verification code.

  3. Click Continue.

Once the code is verified, your email address will be updated.


After Updating Your Email

Once the process is completed:

  • your new email address becomes the primary login email

  • all notifications will be sent to the new email

  • your account remains unchanged otherwise

Security Notes

To protect your account:

  • password confirmation is required before updating your email

  • a verification code must be entered to confirm ownership of the new email address

If the verification step is not completed, the email address will not be updated.
